Well, thanks for the visiting the website so every now and than….
This website is mainly about my time in Saudi arabia, Jeddah. Since I moved to Dubai some time ago I decided to start a new website:

Interesting…. Its long since I updated this site and i still get visitors. I will start a new web-log with a new name… however, for the time being I will put some nice stories and pictures here for the interested readers… 
It will merely go about Dubai and i will make it more personal. The only thing I still need is a new name for my web-log…. does anyone have a suggestion??? Let me know please.

Than you must be able to control your emotions….
I would everybody in the plant to pick up the phone and calling his/her name. Everybody picks up just saying: “hello” or something like that. For me its kind of impolite.
However, yesterday we had a nice discussion with some employees from the philippines. They have hard time picking up the phone saying there name. For them saying their name first is rude and impolite…. Very funny difference…..
I decided to bring my car from Jeddah to Dubai. I need a car in Dxb anyway and its a good deal to bring it there. It took some time and some effort but this week the car finally left for DXB. I have been thinking of driving it my self. But I dont think its really a good idea. Might be nice to see some of the desert but i think its safer to do it with two cars. So I decided not to bring the car theree myself.
They like paperwork here. No, they love it I guess. They like to check and check and check. There is a procedure to check the check. Something like using a torch to see if you really switched of the light. They like procedures. They like official papers. They like signatures and company stamps. The average purchase order has around 10 signatures before it is sent to the supplier. Not my hobby. But the perfect company probably does not exist…..
I dont spend a lot of time in Jeddah any more. The focus is more on starting up the new factory in Dubai. This brings lots of work and headache but the result is there.
The factory in Jeddah is running stable now and quality is under control. The next big task will start soon: dismantling all the equipment and transfer it to Dubai. No holidays for me on the short run…..
